Nada Grande Outdoors’ Hunt It Forward 2019 is underway!

Last year’s #huntitforward participant and #speedgoat slayer extraordinaire @heintzey joins us as well! Rodney and I have been blessed with another set of great participants for Hunt it Forward in 2019. Shay has been chomping at the bit to get into hunting, but didn’t know where to get started. Much like our 2018 participants, she has friends who hunt but has never been herself. Ryan on the other hand hunted in his youth. However, as often happens, life progressed and he has not hunted in many years. We had the opportunity to sit down with all three in the field after our first field day wherein we introduced Shay and in the case of Ryan re-introduced the basics of firearms safety and spent some time at the range with different calibers to try. Both did a fantastic job and Emily came to follow up and put in some more practice while she gets ready for the elk hunt she drew for 2019. Fun day at the range!
